In November 2003 the first Eurovision Song Contest for children will take place in Copenhagen. In the meantime, the European Broadcasting Union is searching for a name which best captures the spirit of the contest.
Sarah Yuen, Head of Live Events at the EBU, told to esctoday.com that “some participating broadcasters felt the word kids was demeaning to a 15 year old, while junior was a bit old fashioned. Maybe esctoday.com visitors have good ideas for a suitable name for the contest”.
Using the reaction feature, you can post your ideas on names for the show. Of course the word Eurovision must be in it and the television viewer should understand what it's all about.
To use the reaction facility you must be a member of esctoday.com. If your name is chosen by the EBU, esctoday.com will reward you with a nice Eurovision gift!
Copyright of your name idea can not be claimed, of course.
