TVE has officially announced that the Spanish Eurovision final to select the Spanish representative for the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade will be held on the 8th of March. Online voting for the public to select their favourite entry ended last night. More than 2 million votes were collected. Rodolfo ChIkilicuatre, La Casa Azul, Coral, Bizarre and Arkaitz are the 5 acts that have qualified for the grand final through public online voting.

TVE the Spanish national broadcaster has released a press release announcing the official results as well as revealing that next Thursday the 28th of February the expert jury will make their deliberationand reveal the names of 5 more finalists. The very same day telephone lines will opened for the public to vote for their favourite entry.A total of 10 acts will battle out for the golden ticket to Belgrade on the 8th March when TVE will hold its Eurovision national final.
