Just a few moments ago, the results of the online voting for this year's Spanish preselection have been published. Surprisingly, the leading act until last evening, Antonio González El Gato has dropped to the 36th place, after TVE and Myspace removed some fake votes.
Therefore, the five first qualified acts for the Spanish national final are:
- Rodolfo Chikilicuatre – Baila el chiki chiki. 109,995 votes
- La Casa Azul – La revolución sexual. 67,706 votes
- Arkaitz – Un olé. 63,460 votes
- Coral – Todo está en tu mente. 58,339 votes
- Bizarre – Si pudiera. 54,842 votes
The list has undergone several changes due to TVE and Myspace task of removing the fake votes. The most relevant change is that Antonio González El Gato, placed first until some hours ago, has disappeared from the top-5 and dropped to the 36th place. Below you can see the breakdown showing how many votes each top-5 act has lost after the voting was closed:
- Antonio González El Gato: -110,645 votes
- Rodolfo Chikilicuatre: -2,296 votes
- La Casa Azul: -223 votes
- Coral: -213 votes
- Arkaitz: -12 votes
- Bizarre: -11 votes
The 5 qualified artists will compete to represent Spain in the national final to be held on March 8th, together with other 5 hopefuls to be selected by an expert jury.
