The first Azerbaijani Eurovision entrants Elnur Huseynov and Samir Javadzade are planning a European wide promotional tour for their song Day After Day. The first stop on the tour is Ukraine, where they will perform tomorrow night during the Super Saturday show.

The duo will perform in the Ukrainian national final tomorrow night in Kiev. This will be followed by performance in Greek and Latvian finals. The duo have been invited to many other European countries and plans to make appearances in a number of other national finals.

Along with Azeri entry, the Ukrainian final will feature performance from Morena from Malta, Tereza Kerndlova from Czech Republic and Georgeta Burlacu from Moldova. All these artists will present their Eurovision songs. Moreover, during the show a live link to the Bulgarian National Final will broadcast Ruslana’s 15-minute show from Sofia.During their stay in Ukraine, Elnur and Samir will visit Ruslana, who earlier admitted having a “connection of friendship” tying her to Azerbaijan.

The artists will work in the recording studio and the duo will participate in several live radio and TV shows.This is the first time ever Azerbaijan takes part in the Eurovision Song Contest. Elnur and Samir say they are delighted to represent their country in Europe’s most popular music event.

On Saturday night the duo will present a re-mastered version of the song, however, it will remain essentially the same version of ‘Day After Day’ which was presented at the Azerbaijan national final. At this stage, there are no plans to chance or rework the song for theEurovision Song Contest.
