Tonight, the national final season of the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest will continue: in Finland, the third and last semi final of Euroviisut 2008 will be held with four songs competing.
The show
The semi finals will all be held in Tampere hosted by Jaana Pelkonen & Mikko Peltonen. Four acts will present one song each and televoting will send two songs directly to the national final on 1st March while the third and fourth placed entries are going to enter the second chance round onthe same day. The show starts at 20:00 CET and will be broadcast on YLE TV2.

Finland won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 and was therefore the host country in 2007 when Hanna Pakrinnen finished 17th with Leave me alone. In 2008, the Finnish entry will take part in the first semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest.
