Marie-Line Marolany represented France 10 years ago and placed “next to last”, with only 3 points for Où aller, a song she co-wrote with fellow musicians. The lady didn't release anything under her own name after this experience, but she went on in the business, mostly as backing singer, both on stage and in studio. She's presently composing music for Etienne Chatiliez' next film, to be shown on French screens next December.
Etienne Chatiliez' next film, Agathe Cléry, will be featuring famous French comedian Valérie Lemercier. Chatiliez had a few big success in France, as well as abroad : Life is a long quiet river, Tatie Daniele, Happiness is in the field, Tanguy, to name a few.
As for Marie-Line, working on a movie soundtrack will not be a new exercise. She previously recorded music for a couple of other French films, among which Les Caprices d'un fleuve and Cuisine américaine.
