Good news for Eurovision fans in Australia, as SBS has confirmed that they will be airing both Eurovision Song Contest semi finals. Dustin the turkey, who is participating in this year's Irish preselection has made it on the homepage of one of Australia's top online news agencies, News.com.au. where it is extremely rare to see Eurovision related news published.

SBS, the Australian broadcaster mainly targeted to ethnic groups in Australia, will be airing both Eurovision Song Contest semi finals after all. The first semi will be aired on Friday 23 May and the second on Saturday 24 May at 8.30pm.The Final will be aired on Sunday 25 May at 7.30pm.

Dustin the turkey, the puppet attempting to represent Ireland in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest has made headlines on News.com.au, one of Australia's top online news agencies. Although it can be safely said that the vast majority of the Australian population has absolutely no idea what the contest is, a potential puppet participant has intrigued Australian media.
