The Eurovision Song Contest host nation, Serbia, has picked up an interest in Estonia's song Leto svet, selected at Eurolaul this weekened. The song includes lyrics in Serbian, German and Finnish and an english translation is provided below.

"There will be at least one song in the Serbian language at this year's Eurovision Song Contest, even if you don't count the hosts", joked Saša on the OGAE Serbia website, Evropesma! It is difficult to understand after one listening that the song Leto Svet by popular Estonian comedy group (andformer parliamentarians)Kreisiraadio, is partly in Serbian.Grammatically incorrect grammatically. One gets the impression that the lyricist has looked in the 'At the Restaurant' chapter of a Serbian phrase book, as the words for peas, green beans and lobster are mentioned!

Serbs are asking themselves if this is a desperate step by the Estonians to get a place in the final, which they haven't achieved since the introduction of semi-finals in 2004. Unfortunately for Estonia, Serbia cannot vote in the semi-final they take part in.

OGAE Estonia has provided a translation of the song here:

Who am I,
Please give me a bill.
I am out of gas
in my camping ground

I am out of gas

Two double pieces
of chocolate-cake.
I am sick
of green beans.

I am sick of…

Summerlight
This is summerlight
Summerlight
This is summerlight

Summerlight…

Potatoes,
beans, onion,
lobster-
I am sick of them

Summerlight
This is summerlight
Summerlight
This is summerlight

Summerlight…

Potatoes,
beans, onion,
lobster-
I am sick of them

I am sick of sausages

What now?
Summerlights now
What now?
Summerlights now

Summerlights…
