Eurovil, the Eurovision portal of Israeli national broadcaster, IBA, will air a special television show to reveal the five songs that Boaz Mauda will present to the public for the Kdam selection show. One of the five will be selected as Israel's 2008 Eurovision Song Contest entry. The show will be webcast on 21st February.
Clips of the five songs will be presented on the show, hosted by Jason Daniano-Holt, ex MTV Europe presenter. It will air on the evening of 21st February at 21: 40 local time (20:40 CET) on national television and on the internet at the EurovIL site.
Israel's national final will take place on Monday 25th February. The voting lines will remain open for 24 hours and the announcement of which song Boaz Mauda will sing in Belgrade will be made on Tuesday 26th February.
The five songs participating are:
- Ke'ilo kan (As if here) by Dana International and Shai Kerem
- Masa Haiyai (The journey of my life) by Itay Pearl
- Hin'e Ha'or (There's the light) by Ovadia Hamama
- Bli ahava (Without love) by Henree
- Parparim (Butterflies) by Doron Gal
