With RTÉ releasing the 6 finalists names and songs officially earlier today, the airwaves are talking about only one entrant; Dustin the Turkey with his deuze points song. Dustin's participation has become the talking point of the Emerald Isle as well as the Eurovision community. Many think this is one step too far as a gimmick entry, others think that it will be harmless fun.

Presenter Joe Duffy is joined by chairman of the IrishEurosong selection 2008 Bill Hughes, Shay Healy andPhil Coulter of Eurovision Song Contest song writing fame join in the public radio discussionof Dustins entry for theEurovision Song Contest 2008.

Including in the interview we hear an exclusivelyric version ofDustins entry "deuze points"heard for the very first time with emphasis by Bill Hughes that this song doesn't sound like the version that will be aired on February 23rd at the Irish Eurosong National Final and we also learn of the song had been written in 20 minutes.

Terry Wogan's wig, Bono and an apology for Riverdance are all mentioned in the lyrics.
