Rebeka Dremelj has been voted the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest representative for Slovenia with the song Vrag naj vzame. She won a sing-off superfinal against Skupina Langa with their song Za svobodo divjega srca. Just 395 votes separated them.
Rebeka won a total of 56,823 televotes against Skupina Langa's 56, 428 after the two songs continued to a second round of voting. The rest of the first round results are:

Rebeka will represent Slovenia at the first Eurovision Song Contest semi final in Belgrade on Tuesday 20th May. If she is successful in qualifying, she will pass to the final on 24th May.
