For the first time ever, Azerbaijan is going to take part in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest. The Azeri national final will be held tonight with three singers taking part.
The show
The three singers will perform two songs each and the winner will be chosen by televoting and a jury- however, the winning song might be chosen after the contest. The overall show promises to be very spectacular including among other 2004 Eurovision Song Contest winner Ruslana who will perform her new show Wild energy.

The first Azeri entry in the competition will be performed in the first semi final of the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest 2008 to be held on 20th May.
