The stage design for Melodifestivalen 2008 don't hide anything. Bare steel stands allow for diffrent playgrounds for the artists to use and the contruction allows for all kind of diffrent stage presentations, from calm piano ballads through to bonfires and heavy rock songs.

Victor Brattström is the man behind the stage design and he describes stage for Melodifestivalen 2008:

"It´s a cooler stage this year, with more contrest. From dark black to shining white light and everything in between. The construction creates both depth and height and we dont hide anything, everything is visible. The scene comprises a scaffold what mean many applicable places to place illustration on. The light is therefore integrated more than common in this year's stage design and will have still a little more importance for the overall impression. It also will be movable light during the scene. There are five head playing places for the artists; one Catwalk, two soloact scenes, one luxury scene and the big, deep scene surface in the centers".
