Vienna Calling: First impressions of Czech Republic’s first rehearsal

by Daniel Doyle 162 views

The team at ESCToday.com have arrived in the host city of Vienna, ready to bring you the latest news live from the Eurovision scene. Today we’re here at the first Eurovision 2015 rehearsals for semi final 2.

The final country to rehearse today is the Czech Republic who are back in the contest after a 5 year absence.

Marta Jandová and Václav Noid Bárta are all dressed in black and are the only performers on stage. Both of them are using all the space that the stage provides during this short clip.

Surprisingly for a rock ballad there is not that much flashing lights as you would normally expect from this particular music style. Instead the Czech Republic have settled with a backdrop of mirrors which are reflecting the sky.

Once again the vocals are also spot on.

See below for a short preview of this year’s Czech performance.

How did the press rate the Czech Republic when we spoke to them? Find out below.

See our Introducing 2015 – Czech Republic article for more information about Marta Jandová and Václav Noid Bárta.
