The Czech Republic has chosen its representative for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Belgrade (Serbia). Tereza Kerndlová, with the song Have some fun has won the Czech ticket to Eurovision, beating other nine acts.

Czech national final Eurosong 2008 is over. Ten acts have competed tonight to represent the Czech Republic this year in Belgrade.

Tereza Kerndlová, who performed in second place tonight, will be the Czech ambassadress in Eurovision 2008. She has won the majority of the votes submitted via SMS thus beating hot favourites tonight like Samer Issa, who sang Pick a star or the traditional act čechomor which performed the Silesian song Józef, mój kochany.
