WEBCAST 2(erratic)

We are live. At the beginning, an instrumental version of Work your magic is played by the military orchestra. This song was the first Belarussian entry in the Eurovision Song Contest that reached the final of the competition, where it would achieve sixth place.

Alexey Zhigalkovich now sings his winning song of the 2007 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. It was the second time already Belarus won the Junior competition. Another teen act follows.

1. Po Glazam – Devochka trechtysjachych let

It's "already" time for the first entry tonight. The band looks like in the semi final, a bit trashy, a bit 1980s. Thesong is a catchy butprobably not very sticky rock/pop song. Thisentry did not scoreverywell in the televote and hasqualified through the jury vote.

2. GuneshI can't live without you

Gunesh appears again in red. The performance of the catchy song is very professional and works perfectly. Hard to say how this would do in the Eurovision Song Contest, but it could become a fan favourite.

3. LitesoundDo you believe

The performance of the pop song (with a slight hint of rock music, but a bit too well-behaved) is very simple but works well. The song is catchy but has no high recognition value as it is similar to many hits played on the radios all over the world. Nevertheless, probably the hottest favourite tonight.

4. Ruslan AlekhnoHasta la vista

While we are asking ourselves if all Belarussian singers have the same haircut these days, Ruslan presents the fourth and final entry tonight. The stage performance has been improved and now includes some backgorund dancers which seems neccessary for that disco kind of music. The song is classic Europop (using that Spanish titlewas probably not the most brilliant idea ever), a genre that seems to be pretty outworn lately.

Now it's time for a long series of interval acts. Natalia Podolskaya presents her entry Nonody hurt no one for Russia in the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest. Back then, she finished 15th, Russia's worst result in years.

Ruslana, winner of the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest, performs her winning song Wild dances once again. Another Eurovision Song Contest winner is on stage: Sertab Erener. Lordi follow right after!

Ruslan Alekhno won the national final.
