Flemish broadcaster VRT has published audio snippets of the five songs taking part in the first heat of Eurosong 2008, the Belgian selections for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest. In cooperation with Belgovision.com we introduce you to Sunday's candidates: Katy Satyn, Raeven, Brahim, Eva Darche and Femme Fatale.

01. Katy Satyn – Magical sensation
Star Academy finalist Katy Satyn takes part in Eurosong 2008 with Magical Sensation, a song written by Jens and Stina Engelbrecht, Anders Lennartsson and Göran Månsson. The Swedish team is the musical inspiration of folk group Sarek (Melodifestivalen 2003 & 2004), of which Stina also is one of the singers.
02. Raeven –Shut down the heartmachine Raeven takes part in Eurosong 2008 with Shut Down The Heatmachine. The act is composed of twin sisters Dana and Daisy Nieddu, who took part in the very first edition of Eurosong For Kids in Flanders in 2003. Their song for Eurosong 2008 was written by Michael Garvin and Marc Paelinck.
03. Brahim – What I like about you
Brahim takes part in Eurosong 2008 with What I like about you, a song he wrote together with American songwriter Alan Glass. Brahim participates in the Belgian Eurovision Song Contest selections for the second time. With the song P.O.W.E.R. he reached the final of Eurosong 2006.
04. Eva Darche – We breathe
Eva Darche takes part in Eurosong 2008 with We breathe. The song is one of the three selected songs written by Marc Paelinck, the man who wrote the Belgian Eurovision Song Contest entries Sister and1 lifefor Sergio and Xandee respectively. Marc Paelinck wrote We breathe together with Jamie Winchester.
05. Femme Fatale – Décadence
Femme Fatale takes part in Eurosong 2008 with Décadence, written by Gerard James Borg (Malta 2000, 2002, 2004 & 2007) and Mik Tanczos. Belgian producer Frank Jordens saw for the finishing touch. Femme Fatale is the new name of Betty, who took part in Eurosong 2004 as Biba Binoche with Je Chante Pour Toi.
Last year the Walloon broadcaster submittedthe entry LovePower which was performed by the KMG's and finished 26th in the semi finalgetting 14 points- 12 of them from debuting country Georgia. The last time an entry by the Flemish broadcaster reached the top 10 was back in 1977!
