The brand new site of eurovision.tv has just been launched a few minutes ago. The new layout and design of the website is classy and elegant. New features have been added to the official Eurovision site, such as blogs and more interactivity with users.
The beginning of the Eurovision season every year would not be the same without the traditional revamp of the official website eurovision.tv. This year, the team behind Eurovision's window on the net has created a very classy design, using colours such as black, grey scale and magenta red.
Former layouts of eurovision.tv usually fitted the navigator window size. Now, the new website has been expanded and, in order to give room to all its contents, the user has to scroll down to see all the features.
Regarding its main visual resources, the Eurovision logo with the Serbian flag inside its heart is of course the element that crowns all the pages in the website. Also, a large amount of four-pointed stars spread through eurovision.tv.
Some new features have been added this year. For example, an editor's blog can be found and, as everybody already knows, 2008 is the year when several National Finals to take place across Europe are webcast on eurovision.tv's Media Lounge. Users can also acquire further knowledge about what EBU is. By clicking on "Organization" in the menu at the top, several explanations on the Reference Group, Head of Delegations, etc. can be found. Even fans can submit their questions to Svante Stockselius, EBU's executive supervisor.
