All songs participating in Dora 2008, the Croatian preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest, will be aired on HRT2 radio program Turki show. The presentation kicked off today with the first two songs by Antonija ola and Ivo Gamulin Gianni. The rest of the songs will be presented in the next shows every Monday and Thursday at 13.30h – 15.30 CET.

In today's show two of the participating songs were presented to the audience: Ivo Gamulin Gianni's Sanjam (I'm dreaming) and Antonija Šola's Gdje je srce, tu je dom (Home is where the heart is). Besides the presentation of these two songs, the host of the Turki party show, Zlatko Turkalj Turki, spoke about the importance of Dora as a competition. He also said that he believes that the Eurovision Song Contest is suffering a loss of originality and went on to remind the audience of the "golden years of Croatian entries which made me play the songs that didn't win Dora but have remained popular even to date".

Turki had invited some former Dora participants to join him in today's show – Ivana Plechinger, Alen Nietić, Stanko Šarić, Vlatka Grakulić, Davor Rodik, Izabela Martinović and last but not least Jelena Rozga who said herself that she still grieves for not going to Eurovision Song Contest with Hrvatska rapsodija.

A very special thank you to Aleksandar Kesic for the submission of the article.

Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain. I joined esctoday.com in 2006 as a junior editor after being invited by Barry Viniker, I soon became Senior Editor and during the 2007 contest in Helsinki I was appointed Head of Communications. Today I hold the post of Head of Human Resources and I am proud to be working with the best editorial team in the world.
