Bodies Without Organs have had over ten hits in their native country Sweden so far. They have participated in Melodifestivalen twice and are giving it a third try this year. They have chart success in some European countries and on 21 January they release Sunshine in the rain in the UK.
BWO gives UK market another try asthey will follow up UK single Chariots of fire with the release of Sunshine in the rain later this month. The song-written by Alexander Bard and Anders Hansson- was first on the 2004 album Prototype and a hit in Sweden in 2005. Chariots of fire (as well as Sixteen tons of hardware) reached the Top 10 on the British club charts, it also reached number 20 on the commercial pop dance chartin April andwas, at the time,one of the most requested videos on several of the music video channels in the country.
BWO will return to Melodifestivalen in 2008 with a song called Lay your love on me, which was co-written by Bard and Hansson together with Bobby Ljunggren and Henrik Wikström, the two composers who wrote Carola's winning song which beat BWO´s Temple of love in 2006. Anders Hansson has some Eurovision merit as he produced 2004 Melodifestival winner Det gör ont/It hurts by Lena Philipsson.BWOwill soon release the fifth single from latest album Fabricator, called Give me the night in Sweden.
