The 2016 Aussie Eurovision representative Dami Im has flown to Africa, namely to Uganda to visit her sponsor child.
This year’s Eurovision runner up, Dami Im has flown to Kampala, Uganda where she will visit a child she’s sponsored. During a Q&A hosted by SBS, the Aussie star said that she would like to use her Eurovision success to help raise awareness about children living in poverty.
Dami Im has become a household name both at home in Australia and throughout Europe after her magnificent Eurovision performance in Stockholm last month, when she narrowly missed out winning the competition.
Last week Dami Im returned to Australia and was given a hero’s welcome in her hometown Logan.
Dami Im represented Australia at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest with her entry Sound of Silence, achieving an honorable 2nd place in the Grand Final in Stockholm.
