The first semifinal of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest is over and we already know the 10 lucky qualifyers for the Saturday final. The outcome of tonight's show has been shocking to many, as Turkey and Armenia will miss a Eurovision final for the first time.

These countries managed to go through the Eurovision final, to be held on Saturday. The running order in the show has also been determined (in brackets):

• Serbia (Running order position in the Final: 24)
• Lithuania (Running order position in the Final: 4)
• Greece (Running order position in the Final: 9)
• Azerbaijan (Running order position in the Final: 19)
• Georgia (Running order position in the Final: 25)
• Switzerland (Running order position in the Final: 13)
• Hungary (Running order position in the Final: 5)
• Finland (Runninf order position in the Final: 1)
• Russia (Running order position in the Final: 10)
• Iceland (Running order position in the Final: 21)

For the first time since its debut, Armenia hasn't qualified for the final. Their neighbour, Turkey, also failed to reach the final stage for the first time since the semifinals were introduced.

Other fan favourites have been eliminated from the race tonight: Norway's Stella Mwangi, Albania's Aurela Gaçe, Croatia's Daria Kinzer or San Marino's Senit, to name a few. San Marino has not been lucky in any of its two Eurovision participations.

Greece and Russia managed to sail through the final once again, for the eighth consecutive time. Also Azerbaijan has never missed to participate in the Eurovision final since their debut in 2008. The same goes for Georgia, but the latter did not participate in 2009.

Switzerland will be attending the Eurovision final for the first time since 2006, while Hungary seems to be making a strong comeback, having qualified for the first time since 2007

Iceland manages to stay in the Eurovision finals for the fourth consecutive year. Finland and Lithuaniaare also back in the big night after their failure last year. Serbia qualifies for the second year in a row.
