40 countries will be taking part in the 60th Eurovision Song Contest which will be held in Vienna on 19, 21 and 23 May. The next country to be introduced is Sweden. Singing for Sweden this year is Måns Zelmerlöw.

Måns Zelmerlöw is a 2005 Swedish Idol alumni graduate and has participated at Melodifestivalen in 2007 with Cara mia and in 2009 with Hope and glory.

He hosted the Swedish nationals in 2010 and returned to Melodifestivalen this year where he won with his entry Heroes. He got 122 points from the international jury and 166 points from the public.

He is also a supporter of  the Swedish LGBT community having participated at the annual QX Gay Gala Awards in previous years both as a host and performer. Zelmerlöw is an established star in Swedish stage, music and televison.
