Eurovision 2015: Conchita’s voice to feature in trams,trains and stations!

ORF, the national Austrian broadcaster has revealed that the 2014 Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst will also be featuring in the Viennese transport during the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. The Queen of Austria’s voice will be heard on trams, trains and stations come May.

Yes Conchita Wurst will play a bigger role in the Eurovision Song Contest, come May. The Queen of Austria will have the honour of  welcoming all the 2015 Eurovision visitors next May. The 2014 ESC winner will be heard in trams, underground trains and underground stations. Vienna is launching a massive campaign in order to implement the Eurovision Song Contest branding, logo, slogan and theme art.

Travellers and visitors in Vienna will be able to hear  Conchita Wurst’s announcements in German, English and French when communting and travelling throughout the city. These announcements will be heard on the Viennese public transport: trams, stations, trains etc. The annoucements will also be heard at event locations during the Eurovision Song Contest week.

Vienna is all set to welcome the world next May when thousands of Eurovision fans, visitors and journalists will land in the majestic Austrian capital for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.

Conchi will also be hosting the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest as the Green Room Host, she will be joining Arabella, Mirjam and Alice in the all girl power ESC 2015 hosts team!

Conchita Wurst won the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhangen with her entry Rise like a Phoenix bringing the grand prix back to Austria for the 2nd time in Eurovision history, thus giving Vienna the chance to host the event in 2015.

The 2015 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 19,21 and 23 at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria.
