The story so far:

Sweden is one of the most successful countries at the Eurovision Song Contest, having triumphed on five occasions.  Their first win came in 1974, when ABBA famously burst on to the scene with Waterloo.  Sweden has since won in 1984 (with Herreys), 1991 (Carola), 1999 (Charlotte Nilsson) and 2012 (Loreen).  Sanna Nielsen, who performed Undo at the Copenhagen-hosted Eurovision Song Contest last year, achieved an excellent placing at the Grand Final, finishing third from a field of twenty-six participants.
