Severina's Eurovision �tikle to be auctioned for charity

The stiletto heels worn by Croatian singer Severina at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest in Athens are to be auctioned at a charity event in the singer's native Split on 10th December.

The event, which will be held at the hotel Le Meridien Lav in Podstrananear Split, aims to raise 500.000 Croatian kuna, approximately €65 000, for the organisation Association for Leukemia and Lymphoma, in order to buy a machine to perform bone marrow transplants, as no such machine exists in Split.

An expensive Rolex watch given to the director of Hajduk Split football club by the vice-president of rival club Dinamo Zagreb Zdravko Mamić will also be auctioned.

Many big names from Croatian showbiz are expected to attend.
