esctoday.com today spoke to one of the breakthrough artists of the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest national finals. Isabelle scooped the Best Newcomer award for Malta's Song For Europe festival and finished third in the Best Overall Performance category with her entry My love.

At just 19 years of age, Isabelle is already a seasoned professional singer and performer, having competed successfully across Europe in many festivals. She has competed with many names familiar to Eurovision Song Contest fans including this year's Eurovision Song Contest finalist, Marija Sestic. In 2007, she made her debut at the Malta Song For Europe competition and was one of the esctoday.com readers' favourites to win the country's ticket to Helsinki.

Today she spoke to esctoday.com about her experience at Malta Song For Europe 2007, and tells esctoday.com exclusively that she plans to return in 2008. She talks about her experiences of her debut entry, and plans for her return to the competition. She also gives a full and frank view of this year's competition and about Malta's position at the Eurovision Song Contest.
