The Netherlands will choose their entrants for the very first Eurovision Dance Contest during a national final to be held on 4th August. Only professional dancers are allowed to take part, in contrast to other countries which will be represented by a professional and a VIP in the style of Strictly come dancing.

Lucille Werner is going to host the competition. She is a famous person on Dutch television and has already hosted lots of other shows. The winning couple will be decided by televoting only. The show will take place on 5th August, which means less than one month before the actual contest in London on 1st September.
