4Kids will represent Romania in this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam. The host country of 2006 held a national final tonight with 14 music acts competing and 4Kids were the clear winners receiving the maximum points from both the jury and the televoters. The beginning of the show was a review of last year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest including New Star Music who performed their 2006 entry Povestea mea once again. The winners were chosen by a jury and televoting (50 %) each. 4Kids scored – as mentioned above – 24 points, followed by Lazar Ovidiu and R.B.L. aho scored 16 points each.

Romania competed in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest on every occasion so far finishing 10th on the debut in 2003, followed by a 4th, a 5th and a 6th place the following years. 4Kids will take part in the 5th edition of the contest in Rotterdam on 8th December.
