Former Dutch national final host Paul de Leeuw told the audience today that he is going to submit a song for the national final of 2003, after he was asked to give comment on a song at the radio.

Paul de Leeuw, who has recently been critizised by Dutch artists because of a rude attitude in his television show, was called in a radio show this morning where he was asked to give advice on a song from written by Eric Dikeb and Ad van Olm. He was enthousiastic and offered to perform it. The working title is Blue skies are for free and is written for two male, and two female singers.

The Dutch national final (the Nationaal Songfestival) will be held at March 1 with eight songs. Before that, four pre-selections will take place, following the Swedish and Belgian system. The deadline for submitting songs to the NOS is November 1st.
