Austria: Wiener Stadthalle confirms new dates for planned events

The venue Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria, where the 60th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in May 2015, has confirmed that all planned other events will still take place.

In deliberation with all parties involved, the Stadthalle has managed to find new dates for events that would have taken place at the same time as the ESC 2015. Tickets for these events are still valid on the new dates, or can be easily replaced, says manager of the Wiener Stadthalle, Wolfgang Fischer.

Because of the preparations for the jubilee edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, all halls of the Wiener Stadthalle will be occupied for at least seven weaks, in the period between 7 April until the grand final on Saturday 23 May 2015. Other events that had been planned in this period had thus to be moved to other dates. To accomodate all visitors of the events, the Stadthalle has managed to move the events to other dates and/or halls. The new dates of the events include:

The horse show Apassionata, Die goldene Spur, Saturday 6 June 2015, Wiener Stadthalle, Hall D

Concert James Last, Thursday 23 April 2015, Wiener Stadthalle, Hall F

Illusionists the Ehrlich Brothers, Saturday 11 April 2015, Wiener Stadthalle, Hall F

The two fairs BabyExpo and PetExpo will be held in parallel hals in the Wiener Stadthalle from 12 to 14 June 2015, Hall D and E.
