TRM, the Moldovan national broadcaster has confirmed to ESCToday the dates of the 2015 Moldovan Eurovision national selection.

Hence  the 2015 Moldovan Eurovision national selection will be held at the end of February in Chisinau. Esctoday.com has learned that the 2015 Moldovan national selection will consist of 3 shows (2 semi-finals and 1 final) which will be held on  on 24, 26 and 28 February . The Moldovan broadcaster will be releasing the rules and regulations for its 2015 Eurovision national selection soon.

The 2015 Moldovan entry and act will be selected via a 50/50 jury- televoting deliberation. More details and information regarding the 2015 Moldovan project will be disclosed in due course.

Moldova debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005 and is yet to win the contest. The country’s best placing was a 6th place in 2005 when it debuted at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev with Zdob Si Zdub‘s Bunika Bate Toba!

Cristina Scarlat  represented Moldova at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest with her entry Wild Soul, despite a powerful performance she failed to qualify to the grand final. Moldova has not missed a single contest since its debut in 2005, having competed a total of 10 times in the event.

The 2015 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 19, 21 and 23 May at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria.
