Euro-music convention to take place in November

At the end of the year, the annual conventions take place in many Eurovision clubs all over Europe. Belgium is no exception, with the Eurovision convention of Flemish association Euro-music on November 2 in the city of Leuven. It will be the fourth time the convention will be helt.

The programme looks very promising with the traditional record fair, karaoke contest and quiz but also with a royal buffet and live performances of Morgane (Nous on veut des violons, 1992) and no one less than One More Time, the group that reached third place in Oslo 1996 for Sweden and had a European wide hit with Highland in 1992. With Nanne and Maria having participated in several national finals, the show promises to be quite spectacular. The convention will end with a fantastic Eurovision party, lasting till the dawn of the day after.

Members and non-members of Euro-music are welcome. Last year, the atmosphere was truly international with participants from no less than seven European countries. The entrance fee for the whole programma is EUR 32.50 and has to be transcribed before October 18. If you only want to attend the record fair, the fee is 3 euro for members and 5 euro for non-members.

People who will be attending the 25th anniversary jubilee of our Dutch colleagues Eurovision Artists on October 12, will have the possibility to pay their entrance fee over there. We hope to see you on November 2 in Leuven, that day the beating heart of Eurovision-loving Europe!
