The rules for the Dutch National final changed! The new rules state that “songs may not be published before October 1”. Matthijs Linnemann from the NOS said that the EBU changed the January 1-rule into October 1.

Changing this rule means that the songs for the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 can already be published when artists or broadcasters wish.

Remember that you might find January 1 as deadline in the rules from your own national broadcaster. This is, of course, the broadcaster's desicion.
