2009 Norwegian representative and winner Alexander Rybak, just ended his short 2 day visit in Malta. He arrived on Thursday and stayed with the Russian RBSM school. The purpose of his visit is being kept private but there are some rumours on why the 28 year old was in Malta.

The Mediterranean island will host the 12th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this November and it may be the case that Alexander visited Malta on something related to the event; but the real rumour circulating is that he’s working with Franklin Calleja who participated in the Maltese national selection in 2013 and 2014.

It is worth noting that submissions for the Malta Eurovision Song Contest (MESC) 2015 will take place next week, on Thursday 28th and Friday 29th August.

Alexander Rybak represented Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with Fairytale and won the event in Moscow. He is the current record holder for most points with 387 points.
