Firelight, the Maltese folk band who represented the island at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen, will be releasing their debut album which will be called Backdrop of Life at the end of September.

Firelight, planned to release their album at the end of February, but their plans changed as they won the Malta Eurovision 2014. Now, that their Eurovision experience is over, they have been polishing their album songs, signed with the German label Dynasty Records and are ready to unveil all their tracks next week at a special gig. This gig will take place on 31st July at the Beer Festival 2014 at Ta’ Qali National Park.

Following their album release, Firelight will start their European tour in Germany and Austria in September.
