Applications for the Event Manager for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Austria will be accepted until Friday, 13 June.
When the core team was announced by ORF last week, one position had yet to be filled – the Event Manager. This position will be responsible for logistics, hospitality, security, and more for the grand event when it takes over Austria next May.
Now, an open competition to find someone suitable for the task is taking place, with applications accepted up until 13 June. According to the requirements outlined, the individual must have several years of experience in organizing large, complex events, particularly in television, have experience in organizing large media and public relations events, and have exceptional knowledge of Austria’s event sector and broadcaster ORF.
