Canadian popstar Céline Dion, winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 1988 for Switzerland, and her husband and manager René Angélil are said to be angry about a parody on her song Im alive from the hit album A new day has come.

Angélil demanded Montreal based radio station CKMF to stop broadcasting the altered version of the song. When his wish was refused by the station, he forbade them to play any Dion-music any longer, so the Canadian newspaper Globe and Mail said.

Two station's DJs made the parody of the song, ironically called A menarve (This makes me angry). According to CKMFs director Luc Tremblay, Angélil threatened the station with his lawyer.

As esctoday.com reported earlier, Dion herself lives in Belgium for the moment, doing rehersals for her new show. The pair is moving to Las Vegas soon, where Dion is engaged for three years. It is said that the casino Cesars Palace is paying her 100 million US Dollars for her appearances.
