The Ark who will represent Sweden in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest has just released their new album. The album, which of course included their entry The worrying kind, has been getting great reviews in Sweden.
The album is called Prayer for the weekend and includes the song for the Eurovision Song Contest plus 10 brand new songs. According to aftonbladet.se it is “a mix of direct pop explosions, spandex operetta and disco cabaret”. All of this gives “an action full rock musical with high tempo and hair-raising chorus’s. The mood is naked from waist and up, the champagne is to drink directly from the bottle. Most of the songs are partying like it was last pay roll weekend before the apocalypse”.
Having song titles like Death to the martyrs and Little dysfunk you in mind your esctoday.com reporter has just ordered the album simply just to find out how an album described like that sounds!
