The new album from Danish participant, DQ, which will be released 7th of May 2007, can be pre-ordered now from CDON.com. The album includes the Eurovision Song Contest entry Drama queen in two versions; the original version to be performed in the contest and a remix version.
The album includes 14 songs among those the two versions of Drama queen. The Finnish version of the song will not be included in the album and it is still very unlikely we will ever get to hear a recording of it. DQ himself, Simon Munk and Claus Christensen, the team behind the Danish entry, have written all the 12 new songs. The track list reveals interesting song titles like Disco halo, Love on the dance floor and DivaLicious.

Confusion has been created by reports on other websites about how well the Danish single has sold. This is however not true as no single exists! It is very uncommon these years in Denmark to release a single with the winner of the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. This is due to the fact that they are worried that it will result in less people buying the official CD released with all the songs participating in the Danish final as well as the coming CD with the actual winner. A single is produced, but it will only be handed out free to press at the Eurovision Song Contest, it will never be for public sale – and therefore the Danish single is NOT to be found in the charts of most selling singles.
Denmark will have to start in the semi-final in Helsinki due to the rest of Europe not twisting like Denmark did last year.
