Marco Mengoni, who represented Italy at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, has unveiled the music video to his song La valle dei re.

The La valla dei re music clip features a number of home videos which looks back at Marco and his family’s childhood and past. The music video is the latest to be released from the Italian singer with Marco’s previous music video being released earlier this year in February. La valla dei re is one of the songs which appears on Marco Mengoni’s 2013 album #PRONTOACORRERE, the same album which also features his Eurovision entry L’essenziale. The album also features a number of his other hit singles including Pronto a correre and Non passerai.

La valle dei re

Marco was selected to represent Italy at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest after winning the Italian music festival Sanremo with his song L’essenziale. Despite having the opportunity to send a different song to the Eurovision Song Contest, Marco eventually decided that he would enter his winning Sanremo entry to the contest which took place in the Swedish city of Malmö. Automatically qualifying to the grand final, Marco ended in 7th place with a total of 126 points.
