Last week, Andorra's broadcasting company RTVA became official EBU member. Now the president of the broadcasting company stated that “Andorra is interested in participating in the Eurovision Song Contest”.

RTVA talks with the juridical department of the EBU about the obligations needed to participate. In case if it's possible, Andorra wants to participate.

“I think it's a very important international event, in wich all the contries want to participate, and so we are interested too”, broadcasting president Enric Castellet said to Eurovision Spain.

While the interest in participation grows internationally, it gets more and more difficult for the EBU to find a good way of selecting participants.
