The European Broadcasting Union is still searching for a new Eurovision co-ordinator. Christine Marchal planned to drop her work as co-ordinator to make more time for her family.

The EBU is currently advertising the function of an Executive Project Manager with responsibility for live events across the Eurovision television network. The new recruit will be responsible for developing existing live events such as the Eurovision Song Contest, Europa Dance, the young dancers competition and the Young Musicians Contest and also investigating new pan European programming.

The EBU prefers someone to fullfill the job with broadcasting experience, for example as Head of Entertainment. It's expected the new co-ordanitor will start his or her job at the end of the summer.
