Georgian television, GPB, has announced the five songs that will be performed by Sopho Khallvashi in the very first Gerogian national final. It will not take place, as earlier announced, on 11th February but it has been moved to 3rd March. It now turns out that the singer will not present – as earlier announced – six songs but only five during the show. The winner will be chosen by SMS voting.
Thefive songs, which are available to download from the broadcaster's official Eurovision site, are:
- Freedom (Mikheil Mdinaradze / Tornike Turmanidze)
- Fantasy land (Zurab Makhniashvili / George Gogolashvili)
- On Adjarian motives (Liliko Nemsadze / Gia Jokhadze)
- My story (Beqa Jafaridze / Bibi Kvachadze)
- Tell me why (Otar Tatishvili)

As a newcomer, Georgia will have to start in the semi final in Helsinki.
