During a Press conference given by the Public Broadcasting Service of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PBS BIH) has been annoucned that Marija Sestic will represent the country at the 52nd Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki.
Yesterday esctoday.com has announced that Marija Sestic was tipped to be theBosnia Herzegovina'srepresentative at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest. Indeed today in a press conference the Public Broadcasting Service of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PBS BIH) has announced her as the one to succeed Hari Mata Hari as the country's representative.
The song title is not announced but authors are going to be Aleksandra Milutinovic & Goran Kovacic. The press conference ended with a pleasant surprise. Marija Sestic sang and played piano.
Thanks to Hari Mata Hari's 3rd place finish last year in Athens with the song Lejla, the best result ever for Bosnia Herzegovina in the contest, Marija Sestic will have to compete directly at the final on 12th May 2007.
