The Danish broadcaster, DR, are asking for fans to submit their ideas on what they’d like to see during the intervals for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014.

DR have launched the campaign using the hash-tag #MyEurovisionIdea, where fans are encouraged to share their ideas on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Fans have until 31 January 2014 to send in their ideas, and the best ones will be used for the two semi-finals and final in Copenhagen next year.

Jan Lagermand Lundme, DR’s Show Producer, says that viewers and fans will be more than capable of coming up with creative ideas:

We believe that there are a lot of creative forces out among viewers throughout Europe and those we would like to leave a voice. We now call on those who have ideas and opinions bout how one of the numbers in the show should look like to send in their proposals.

It can be anything under the sun! A proposal for wild costumes or a crazy set design. It could be an artist who creates something really special, or a reunion with old or new Eurovision Song Contest stars. We want small and big ideas that we can put together to make he most amazing number.

We have the energy, spirit and desire to make it all happen. There can of course be good ideas that are not possible to put into practice but come and try to challenge us!

What would be your dream interval act/performance for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014?
