Tonight, the Albanian representative for the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest was selected during the 45th edition of Festivali I Këngës. Aida & Frederik Ndoci won the selection with the song Balada e gurit which means The stone ballad .

After Moldova chose Natalia Barbu with <i>Fight</i> for Helsinki, the second entry to take part is now known. Aida & Frederik Ndoci will represent Albania in the semi final of the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest, to be held in Helsinki, Finland on the 10th May. Luiz Ejlli failed to qualify in the 2006 semi final with the song Zjarr e ftohtë, finishing in 14th position.
