The time has come for the annual festival of OGAE Greece, the Official Eurovision fan club in Greece, MPLE 2013 (Music Game for Amateurs of Eurovision). Hundreds of members from all over Greece will gather in Athens to play and have fun, in a festival that last year celebrated its 10th anniversary.

MPLE began timidly in 2003 as a game between friends, a simulation of Eurovision Song Contest, and after 10 years it has become a tradition, a luminous annual event that has already hosted former Eurovision winners, Lys Assia and Anne Marie David, former Eurovision contestants Alenka Gotar, and former Greek and Cypriot Eurovision representatives like Bessy Argyraky, Marianna Efstratiou, Manto and Ivi Adamou. During all these years, great people, that have linked their name with Eurovision, undertook the presentation of the event, like George Kapoutzidis, Fotis Sergoulopoulos and Maria Bakodimou.

This year, in the beginning of the second decade of MPLE, the Organizational Committee decided to start a new era coming Back to basics, going back to the core of MPLE, the game itself and the members of OGAE Greece. For this reason the presentation of this year’s festival was appointed to the President of OGAE Greece, and former I.C. of OGAE International, Antonios Karatzikos.

Music, songs, competition, voting and a highly interesting interval act focused on the members of OGAE Greece comprise MPLE 2013. The game takes place this Saturday November the 16th at 16:00 in Architektoniki, Elasidon 6, Gazi, Athens.
