Margaret Berger is almost ready to release her new album, called New religion. In a recent interview, the Norwegian singer stated the record is almost finished and will probably be released in February 2014.

Margaret Berger explained the album is more or less done. The only thing that still has to be taken care of is the mixing. It has been seven years since Berger last released a full record, called Pretty scary silver fairy. In comparison to that album, Margaret says New religion sounds darker and more mature.

Berger premiered her new single Human race in September and is planning to release at least one more single before the album is launched. Meanwhile the singer is busy starting a career in the United States, where she recently signed a record deal with Ultra Records. On Facebook, Berger announced she shot a new video for I feed you my love, that will be used for the American market.

Margaret Berger won the Norwegian national final MGP in 2013 with the song I feed you my love. She represented her country in Malmo and reached the 4th position in the final.
