Carola’s crowd surf at WONK – Tonight Martin Rolinski

The biggest Swedish Eurovision Song Contest star ever, Carola, took to the WONK Eurovision stage at Amiralen on Tuesday night.

She started off by a new version of her 1983 entry Främling up on the ledge above the stage!

She then went on to give the hundreds of spectators a full concert with a band with rocking versions of her other Eurovision hits as well as other songs.

She even managed to include bits of Lordi’s Hard rock hallelujah and the Israeli 1979 winner Hallelujah in her set.

As Carola said in our interview she wanted to give the Eurovision Song Contest visitors a live experience to balance out the pre-recorded music heard otherwise.

A total professional entertainer she even had a dive into the audience and crowd surfed at the end of her set, before spending some time talking to her fans and signing autographs.

Tonight after the second semi-final WONK Eurovision will bring Martin Rolinski live on stage.

Tickets are only 200 SEK, and OGAE members with a card get a discount of 50 SEK so you can get in for 150 SEK tonight.

Tickets are available from Tickster, the WONK terrace bar from 17.00 or on the door.
